We design; we do not manufacture or ship appliances. The clinician chooses where they are produced.

Cihan Aydoğan designed Saklıtel, his own lingual system, and has treated patients with it for years in his Istanbul practice. Ortodocera brings the digital planning behind that work to orthodontists and laboratories worldwide.

Saklıtel is a trade mark registered to Cihan Aydoğan at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

Scope and responsibility

Four points to read before sending a case.

Not a separate company

Ortodocera is a brand operated by Cihan Aydoğan, DDS, PhD. Fees are invoiced as a consultancy service under his own registration.

Design only

Ortodocera does not manufacture or sell jigs, trays, wires, aligners, splints or appliances and is not a party to manufacturing, sale or supply. The clinician chooses the production in line with applicable regulations: in their own practice, or through a dental laboratory. Promotion and clinic visits are carried out by Kindos Medikal.

Clinical responsibility stays with the clinician

Setups, bracket positions, aligner plans and splint designs are proposals. Assessing their applicability, approving them and carrying out the treatment remain the responsibility of the patient's own clinician.

Patient data without identifiers

No patient name, contact detail or identity information is requested. Data handling terms are set out in the consultancy and data processing agreements with the clinician.

The order portal is hosted in Türkiye; patient data does not leave the country. Patient records are deleted 90 days after delivery, and every approval is recorded with a digest of the files.
